Early Morning Adventures At Walter Many people take Walter for granted. They see a dirty, crowded “super-store” that is a pain to shop at when you have little patience for busy and overpopulated places. They see a store that can only be described as “cheap” and “vulgar. ” They see a store where only the lowest class of people shop. Some may even describe It as a “Low class Target. ” Those people have obviously never taken a trip to Walter at 3 a. M. Walking through the sliding glass doors of Walter at 3 a. M. Is a pretty shocking sight.
It looks exactly like you would imagine a store in heaven to look. No lines, sparkling white clean floors, and every cashier in the place waiting to ring you up. You expect to see hundreds of people throughout the store or standing in line to buy things, as you would if you were to go shopping there at any other time of day. But somehow, It Is as if you are walking through a ghost town. The rows of freshly stocked merchandise Is a compelling sight. You can wander through the aisles freely, without having to worry about the obnoxious people you may need to dodge Just to get the items you want.
Everything Is in its place, as It Is hours before the mob of unruly children and parents even think to come and knock things out of order. Items are easier to find, and the shopping experience is so much more enjoyable and relaxing. There is no wait for the bathrooms. Bathrooms that are usually filled with inpatient men and women, are free and ready to use at your disposal. Mr.. Clean radiates throughout the stalls and fills the entire room, showing that the bathrooms have been wiped clean shortly before, something that rarely happens during a populated workday.

You can test out the variety of toys, read all the magazines without paying for them, and even take a bike or scooter for a little test run around a few aisles. You can freely test out toys and products that you’ve always wanted to try, but are always intimidated to do in public. There are no blank stares from Judging bystanders, just you and the ideas you’ve always wanted to bring to life. Not many things are open at 3 a. Many of the bars in town are even closed on most nights at this time. So being a night owl and an insomniac can be pretty boring at times. That Is until the Walter, which Is open 24 hours a day, was built Just around the corner from my house. Now I never have a night where I am bored, because even though I have heard the most horrid of stories about the nightmares of Walter, I simply remember that the store is absolutely deserted by the time I go shopping. So t you’re ever up and looking tort something to do at You’ll be glad you did. 3 a. M, visit the local Walter.
